About the Wine: Rosé wines may take form in many varieties, styles and hues. Savvy wine drinkers may recognize this variety as one of Spain’s most dynamic red cultivars. Tempranillo thrives in the Mediterranean-like climate of Southern California and it takes on a wonderful dimension when made into a rose. This Spanish-style rosé has a delicate aroma of strawberries, raspberries, and citrus peel. The slight bit of residual sugar gives a lushness to the mouth-feel and the abundantly fruity, crisp finish makes this Tempranillo Rose a great warm weather sipper.

The first-ever Megadeth Boot Camp — which was described in a press release as “a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the ultimate Megadeth fan” — took place March 10-12 on Dave Mustaine‘s private estate in Fallbrook, California. As part of the boot camp package, fans attending were treated to a wine tasting event at nearby South Coast Winery where Mustaine wine is currently produced. Wine served at the special event included Blood Of Heroes 2011 Syrah, Hook In Mouth 2013 Red Blend, and Kingmaker 2013 Red Blend.
