About the Wine:
This beautiful red blend reflects a style of wine that has become synonymous with Tuscany and wines from that iconic Italian region. Bright plum and ripe black cherry notes from the Sangiovese are intertwined with delicate herbal-cassis and fennel nuances from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The acidity is balanced against the oaky sweetness and the rich tannic structure holds the wine in a supple and velvety grip. To be anointed king, one must first be worthy; this wine delivers everything, and then some.

Mustaine Vineyards’ new limited edition “Blood Of Heroes” 2011 Syrah public sales begin Monday, October 27 @ 9 a.m. Pacific Time. A special surprise will be included in the first 12 cases sold. The wine is available to purchase by the bottle or by the case of 12. Wine is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. International orders will be accepted depending on your Country’s rules for importing alcohol.
About the Wine:
This vintage of Syrah has deep droughts of lavender and earthy fig aromas which meld with the spicy oak in a wonderfully assertive bouquet that is full of brambly berries and Damson plums. Aged exclusively in French oak barrels, this wine has a harmonious and well developed vanilla scent that is very appealing and attractive. Deep purple-red in color, this wine is very alluring and rich. The tannins are silky, and a delicate crispness in the body shows the aging potential in this wine; suave, yet sporting a roguish roughness that is distinctly Wild Horse Peak.
